1. What we collect

UsedCars.sx collects vehicle listing details, contact email, WhatsApp/contact number, uploaded images, optional notes, specifications, and features so we can display and moderate used car listings for St. Maarten / Saint Martin.

2. How we use information

We use this information to manage free listings, review submissions before publication, contact sellers about changes or approval decisions, and support the operation of the registry.

Our legal basis is user consent and legitimate interest in operating a free listing service.

3. Public and private information

Once a listing is approved, listing details, images, and the WhatsApp/contact number may be visible publicly so buyers can contact sellers directly.

Seller email is used for review and admin communication and is not displayed publicly by default.

4. Retention

Approved listings remain active for 30 days after approval. Archived listings may be retained for an additional period to support moderation, fraud prevention, operational handling, and possible extension requests.

You can request deletion or removal by emailing hello@usedcars.sx.

5. Sharing and providers

We may use service providers such as Supabase, Vercel, and our email provider to operate the site and process submissions. We do not sell personal data.

Public listing data may be visible to search engines and social previews when listings are shared or indexed.

6. Cookies

UsedCars.sx only uses essential cookies needed for basic site functionality, admin sign-in, and remembering whether you dismissed the cookie notice. We do not use marketing or analytics cookies right now.

7. Your choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent by contacting hello@usedcars.sx.

We use reasonable security measures, but no system is 100% secure.
